Chāndor The future of the APRHF in LaPlata starts right now. We have long had exhibits and venues all over town. Which was good unless you wanted to visit them all and had not transportation. The time is now to start on the road to unifying them. The place for this unity is part of the land by the lookout point cabin and deck. The Ex-Amtrak MHC car move and refurbishment is the most labor intensive and they will be the centerpiece. So they get the first attention. There is a composite sketch being worked on to show the overall scope of the project. But for now this is where all eyes are focused because nothing else can be done until this is done. We thank you in advance for your support.

10-5-2018 Good news everyone! We just crossed the line to get the base setup for where the new cars will be located in the Lookout Point Park. This is exciting as it allows us to make firm plans on moving them. Still crossing those fingers for ties and rail donations (or at a cheap cost) When this happens. The next step will be moving them. Thank You all for your support so far. The foundation will be built in the spring and if all goes well with this fundraiser. Hopefully move the cars later in the year. Have a great weekend everyone.
