http://avavolleyball.com/clubprograms/tryouts/?mibextid=Zxz2cZ For the first time ever Santa is going to visit La Plata via Amtrak. It will be a fun time for all. Below is the press release:

Woo Woo! Hey, I hear the train coming. Wait a minute… who is that stepping off the train? Its Santa!!!! Yes, that is correct. Kids of all ages will love to see Santa arrive by Amtrak the evening of December 17th. Come on down to the La Plata Amtrak Station and get pictures taken with Santa, please bring your own camera. Be sure and tell him what you want for Christmas, too.

Mrs. Claus and the workers will also be there to serve hot chocolate and cookies.

The large model railroad that is at the station will also be operating. This event will start when the train gets here, which is usually 7:51pm. Once Mr. and Mrs. Claus get inside the station we will all get to line up and visit with them.

This is sure to be a fun time for everyone, and a first for La Plata. Santa and his workers hope to see you there!
